Hullo there, allons-y! Folk round here call me Strider... except they don't actually; most of them call me Maya. I also answer to 'Harry Potter,' and 'The Doctor' and 'Bro, sir' as well as Granger or Hermayane, or actually anything really, you can call me what you like!
I'm unironically enthusiastic about a lot of things, like Doctor Who, Harry Potter, Sherlock, Nerdfighteria, Edgar Allan Poe, the Oxford Comma, YA lit, classic lit, theatre, music, dance, David Tennant, Matt Smith, X-Men: First Class, the Avengers, Tom Hiddleston, and the Lord of the Rings.
I also do a lot of social activism work, especially involving depression, self-injury, and age-ism against teens. I run a chapter of the Harry Potter Alliance and am pretty involved in that, as well as in similar utilizations of literature and fandom for activism and support. Sometimes people come to me for advice, and I try to utilize this love that I have for books and the power that they contain to help in whatever way that I can.
